My client is actively recruiting for an MLRO/AML/KYC Compliance Manager to join their Dublin office. Minimum Experience: 7+ years’ AML/KYC and management experience in a relevant financial services environment. This is an exciting opportunity and will provide unrivaled expsoure for the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and assessing suspicious activity notifications
- Continuously updating and improving internal AML policies & guidelines in consultation with appropriate internal stakeholders and senior management.
- Designing and monitoring completion of the AML compliance testing program
- Frequently providing updates to board members and senior management on AML updates
- Liaising with the business on new AML regulations and providing guidance on current and proposed AML regulation to management, company clients & senior management
- Supporting and reinforcing AML policies and high level AML guidelines in consultation with Registration Department and MLRO/Compliance
Experience:
- You will have in-depth practical experience of developing and applying anti-money laundering policies and procedures at an escalated level.
- Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills
- Prior experience as a Money Laundering Reporting Officer is advantageous.
- Previous experience in handling and resolving complex/unusual operational and managerial problems that are referred from above and below.
- You will have experience in reviewing processes, assessing risk and defining controls.
- You will have around 8+ years’ experience in a similar environment, likely including time spent within a Compliance, Audit or Trustee function.
- Prior experience working in a Transfer Agency role is advantageous.
- Post-graduate qualifications in a Compliance, Risk, Audit subjects preferable
