My client provides analytics to its clients using its web based application. It provides their clients with detailed and informed information which helps with their risk and performance decisions regarding their investments. The various types of analytics provided are stress testing, VaR, derivatives (delta, gamma, vega) as well as fixed income characteristics such as duration and convexity. This role is highly technical but it also requires the candidate to communicate results to the clients in an informed and understandable format. 

If you have a strong understanding and experience in quantitative finance. derivatives knowledge and an IT background this is a fantastic opportunity that will provide excellent career progression opportunities. My client has a state of the art office with excellent onsite facilities and based in ideal Dublin city centre location for commuting. 

 

Remuneration Client Service Risk Analyst, AVP:

Key Responsibilities of a Client Service Risk Analyst, AVP:

  • Provide detailed solutions with regards to regulatory updates with particular concentration on Solvency II.
  • Establish STP process for clients to ensure all their data feeds are automated where possible. 
  • Onboarding of new clients when required.
  • Become a subject matter expert on OTC pricing models.
  • Liaise with financial engineering and IT teams to coordinate design and implement tool enhancements.

Skills Required for a Client Service Risk Analyst, AVP:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a Market Risk role with an asset management firm. 
  • Degree in Finance or related area.
  • FRM, CFA, CQF and PRMIA qualification an advantage.
  • Strong quantitative finance expertise (Market Risk analytics, stress testing, VaR, Fixed Income Analytics, OTC pricing modelling. 
  • Experience with VBA or python required.
  • Experience with Agile software development and advantage.
