A leading global financial institution is seeking a Client Service Risk Consultant, VP role for their Client Service Division.  Some of the main responsibilities of this role are leading initiatives for operations and validating risk, data cleansing, data governing. This is a very technical role so strong knowledge on various products such as derivatives, fixed income and OTC instruments is a must. In addition to this technical knowledge and understanding additional emphasis will be placed on client communication, KPI oversight, supporting sales activities and liaising closely with business development teams.

Key Responsibilities of a Client Service Market Liquidity Director, VP:

  • Coordinate initiatives in the area of data governance, KPI oversight, client communication and client onboarding.
  • Strong security knowledge including derivatives, OTC and fixed income.
  • Strong understanding of risk techniques such Value at Risk, Stress testing.
  • Exposures and Greeks.
  • Performance and market liquidity understanding is very important.
  • Maintenance of risk management analytics and reporting services.
  • I.T ability knowledge including software development life cycle.
  • Training risk analysts and team management.

Skills Required for a Client Service Market Liquidity Director, VP:

  • 5-7 years experience in a Market Risk role with an asset management firm. 
  • Degree in Finance or related area.
  • FRM or CFA qualification an advantage.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and risk management techniques. 
  • Strong analytical knowledge of financial products such as derivatives.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and risk management techniques including Stress testing, VaR, exposure measurement.
  • Previous management experience is essential.
  • Advanced excel ability and previous experience with SQL.
  • Bloomberg/Morningstar experience advantageous.
