A successful and growing Fund Administration company is seeking candidates with excellent reconciliation and problem solving abilities.  The role entails the transition of a client’s funds from an old administrator to my client. This role involves reconciling positions and entries that the previous administrator had and ensuring that when the fund is brought on live that all information is correct and ready to proceed.

It is a very varied role which requires strong problem solving ability. This role is removed from the daily valuation team and provides numerous ongoing projects that are constantly progressing. 

My client is based in a prime Dublin location with excellent options for lunch and transport. It is both a fast paced and dynamic team and company but if you are dedicated and successful promotion is readily attainable. 

Renumeration for this Job:

Excellent salary, bonus and benefits package on offer with a very favourable work life balance.

Salary can reach €35,000 depending on experience.

  

Key Responsibilities of a Client Transition Analyst:

  • Working first hand with all new clients to guarantee all mandatory information is received in a timely manner in order to promptly begin the initial taking on process.
  • Cordinating with the Middle Office Department to confirm the administration of all OTC tax lots on to the system along with the daily trades that will be loaded once the initial positions are administered.
  • Revising  previous administrator books and highlighting any differences that may occur between the prior administrators system and the in-house NAV system at the date of take on.
  • Communicating with the in-house NAV team during the parallel period while both the previous administrator and the company are both producing NAV.
  • Ensuring that a full reconciliation is performed between the prior administrator and the company records, and that any differences are accounted for.  
  • Loading historical trades for Clients where the company are performing a historical backfill of their Portfolios and reconciling positions and profit and loss on a monthly basis.

 

Key Requirements of a Client Transition Analyst:

  • Reconciliation skills with problem solving abilities and resolve breaks abilities.
  • Flexible in terms of capacity to work both independently or in a team structure environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially excel.
  • Minimum 2.2 degree. 
  • An understanding of Fund Accounting process desired.
