My client, a well-known organisation is seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join the Finance Team in their Dublin based head office. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and therefore would suit a candidate who is looking for the exposure of working along with senior management. You will be involved in preparation of the financial statements as well as being included in projects related to upcoming acquisitions.

Responsibilities of Financial Accountant :
- Reporting of groups entities Profit & Loss Accounts within month end deadlines
- Reporting of P&L variances Vs budget
- Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly group consolidated accounts
- Preparation of intercompany reconciliations and reporting and eliminating of intercompany sales
- Assist in the accounting for acquisitions and review of fair value of assets
- Assist in all areas of tax compliance within the Group
- Participate in Group projects
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Excellent communication skills and business acumen
- Strategic thinker, career driven and highly motivated
- Good team player, flexible, enthusiastic person, able to work on own initiative
