Global Emerging Markets Fixed Income Portfolio Manager
My Client currently manages approximately €40 billion worth of assets, with over 135 funds. The Company is seeking an experienced professional for the position as Global EM Fixed Income Portfolio Manager within the Investment Team. Based in Dublin, the successful candidate will be offered a rare and attractive opportunity to play an integral part in the continued growth of the company. The role is a permanent contract.
Main Responsibilities:
- Playing an essential role in the management of the global EM fixed income funds, under the supervision of the head of the team
- Participating in the internal debate, on global markets, in order to contribute actively to the idea generation and to the investment process
- Developing and maintaining a robust framework for identification and implementation of investment ideas in the team
- Interacting with other teams in the company
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the investment industry in Global EM fixed income, with particular focus on hard currency debt
- Demonstrable, proven, and positive track record in generating value in the specified asset class is essential
- Evidence of a robust investment process
- Outstanding capacity to communicate and interact with people
- Strong excel skills and ability to build and maintain spreadsheets designed to improve risk management and to optimise investment opportunities
- Fluency in English (oral and written) is required
