Our Client, a leading Global Financial Services Organisation is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Professional to develop and lead a Global Compensation Strategy, partner with the business and drive this people strategy across the organisation. It is essential that you have the commercial acumen and can provide HR leadership to all aspects of the business; ensuring all Compensation practices are compliant with EU/EBA legislations and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Has responsibility for the Global Compensation Strategy adhering to all EU/EBA regulatory legislations
- Working with Senior Stakeholders and guiding them through all aspects of HR regulatory processes
- Decoding and explaining all EU Legislation to the relevant Stakeholders
- Ensuring that all HR policies, practices and procedures meet all regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement an annual agenda for Global Compensation/Remuneration strategy in line with the goals of the business
- Partner with all key stakeholders within the business and build strong relationships
- Results-focused, understands what is important to staff, clients and management, is fully committed to achieving these goals.
- Excellent communication skills, proven ability to handle complex and difficult situations
- Working and reviewing MRT processes for compliance with European Banking Authority (EBA) Guidelines on sound remuneration policies under CRD IV.
- Acts as a role model for the organisation; works with others in a collaborative and solutions focused manner to achieve positive outcomes
Skills
- Expert in EU HR regulations, tax or law is essential
- Expert of the Compensation Regulatory environment in the EU
- Expert in working and reviewing MRT processes for compliance with European Banking Authority (EBA) Guidelines on sound remuneration policies under CRD IV.
- Previously has influenced Senior Management teams, built strong commercial relationships and driven compensation practices
- Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to recognise the value and responsibility of working in a team and actively developing team members
- Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions
- Ability to manage, coach and partner with global teams; working independently and in a team environment
- Pragmatic in decision making and offer effective solutions to problem-solving
- Excellent attention to detail
