Audit Manager – Internal Audit

Our Client, an International Bank specialising in Treasury, Corporate Lending and Derivatives Trading is seeking to hire an exceptional Internal Audit Manager. This position is based in Dublin and will involve assisting with audit activities that impact the business in front, middle and back office, as well as business support functions. You will report directly to the Senior Manager in Internal Audit in Ireland. Job duties and responsibilities
- Assist with planning of Audits for diverse units
- Carry out risk based audit assessments and controls testing in front/middle and back offices.
- Liaise closely with Senior Manager – Internal Audit
- Evaluate and identify internal control weaknesses and take corrective action
- Clear and concise written audit reports to be presented to the line manager and conduct Audit closing
- Comply with HR management policies and procedures
Requirements
- Professional Qualification e.g. (ACCA, ACA, CIA, IIA) preferable
- 5+ years Internal our External Audit experience preferably in non-retail bank or Financial Services organisation.
- In-depth knowledge of audit process and methodologies
- Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements within Ireland and EU
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to write clear and accurate audit reports
