Job title: Middle Office Analyst
Job responsibilities:
- Efficiently identify and resolve transaction discrepancies between firm and swap counterparties
- Ensure timely receipt of electronic-based OTC confirmations from trading counterparties
- Review swap confirmations covering all OTC products such as total return swaps, equity options, structured equity products, convertible bond options, credit defaults, rates and fixed income products
- Manage the settlement of swap cash flows associated with OTC products, including unwinds, quarterly fees, resets, upfront fees, coupons and premiums
- Assist in monitoring daily trade capture of OTC trades and exception queue monitoring
- Review corporate action bookings and dividends/coupons to ensure correctly affecting position
- Assisting in projects which promote efficiency as well as coll with IT in the development/enhancement of trade entry
Skills / Experience required for the job:
- Experience working in a Middle Office role
- OTC experience is a strong advantage
- Awareness of EMIR regulatory impact on OTC middle office
- Client service experience
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related subject
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures, familiar with financial markets and instruments and Hedge Fund structures
