This firm offers a unique and cutting edge, online infrastructure that links advisers, brokers, clients and their investment portfolios. This innovative start-up boasts globally recognised clients and offer candidates great exposure to all aspects of this small business.

They are now seeking to appoint an operations leader to form part of their core business team. For this role you will be a committed, self-starter with a background in wealth management, at a managerial level. You will have led an operations team in a middle office environment. You will have strong awareness of the regulatory landscape, specifically MIFID and MIFID II and it’s implications. You will be risk aware with a focus on compliance and continued process improvements.

 

As part of a senior team, you will visible, core member of this small but aggressively growing Irish business. You will lead the growth and development of an operations team reporting into you and be heavily involved in technology upgrades and improvements.

Duties:

  • Manage New Client Onboarding
  • Contribute to excellent client relationship and ensure SLA’s are met
  • Manage timely transmission of market/fund orders for the client base through the firm’s platform
  • Oversee service providers, supervise daily settlements and client reporting
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance to internal procedures, controls and regulatory requirements
  • Produce Management Information reports
  • Manage the Operational/administration team
  • Implement process flows and standard operating procedures
  • Participate in Process Improvement and Business Development Projects

Experience required:

  • 5+ years in a leadership role in operations, specific to the wealth management industry
  • Exposure to and working knowledge of: Global markets dealing and execution, Clearing and settlement, Global Custody, Transaction Reporting, Equities, Fixed Income, ETFs, Funds, Client Reporting, trade life cycle
  • Regulatory knowledge – MIFID and MIFID II
  • Salesforce experience is an advantage
  • Experience in technical change and projects
  • Team player, comfortable working in a small, collaborative environment
