The risk advisory team with my client is a very fast paced and interesting place to be a part of. It spans across Banking, Insurance and Investment industries. As a consultant my client helps organisations meet its obligations in an ever expanding regulatory world. In consultancy you help provide expertise to your client in order for them to adapt to regulatory updates in order to minimalize risk for their business. It is a very client focused and interfacing role which requires a great deal of variation to your day to day responsibilities. The Risk Advisory team deals with the highest levels of management with its clients. 

My client is based in an excellent Dublin 2 location in modern offices which have numerous transport options nearby. My client has extensive new business so there is plenty of opportunity for career progression. 

 

Remuneration:

Our client offers a highly competitive remuneration with performance bonus as well as a very competitive benefits package within a progressive environment. The successful candidate can earn up to €45,000 depending on experience.

 

Key Responsibilities of Risk Advisory – Prudential Regulation – Consultant:

  • Provide Risk regulation advice to clients on key regulations such as Solvency II and CRD IV.
  • Assessment of new regulations such as MiFID II.
  • Assistance of the wider supervisory process e.g. SREP. which includes Business model assessment, Internal capital adequacy assessment process (ICAAP).
  • Own Risk and solvency assessment (ORSA).
  • Liquidity assessment.
  • Stress Testing.
  • Full Risk assessments.
  • Second line of defence prudential risk monitoring.
  • Internal audit subject matter assistance.
  • Risk and Finance transformation including data management. 

 

Skills Required for Risk Advisory – Prudential Regulation – Consultant:

  • Working on prudential projects including development of service proposals, executing and assisting the engagement manager.
  • Working and liaising with client staff.
  • Developing and growing a network in the financial services space.
  • Become a subject matter expert in this area.
  • 2 – 3 years relevant experience
