This market leader in investment management is currently bringing a number specialist, operations support teams to the Dublin market. The data management department are responsible for maintaining and distributing accurate funds data across the firm’s global business units. This includes monitoring data quality, managing data vendor relationships, on-boarding new data/systems and enforcing robust data governance. In this job you will also manage and maintain the data linked to brokers, counterparties and custodians.
This job will appeal to candidates with a background in funds / fund accounting / fund administration, looking to move into something more strategic and analytical. Suitable for someone who thrives in a dynamic, time critical and sometimes pressurised environment.
For this job you will:
- Have a strong understanding of and experience working with different fund styles such as UCITS, AIF, Segregated, Life, Pensions, OICEs
- Have an understand of the importance of fund related data and the management of such data
- Strong delivery focus on accuracy and quality
- Show the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Have a good understanding of Data Governance Principles
- Display risk avoidance / awareness
