An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join the development corporation finance team within a leading global fintech company.  This team is directly related to the group but is not in the software or fintech industries; instead it provides real estate, property management and maintenance services to it’s clients in the luxury hospitality business as well as managing property development for the project.

The Dublin based team has begun the process of centralising the end to end financial operations for this group of companies.

The Finance function is the nerve centre for the organisation and helps provide all aspects of financial direction to support their groups strategic decisions. The principles and smooth running of this function is fundamental to the institution and through rigorous, collaborative and long term thinking the Finance function gives them the foundation to achieve the groups ambitious objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to design the future state business architecture and processes necessary to successfully migrate the finance function from a local team to Dublin
  • Implementation of a financial accounting system, which will integrate with the revenue billing cycle
  • Development of reporting, business analytics, forecasting and variance analysis within the billing cycle
  • Assist in preparation of monthly accounts for companies involved in the billing cycle

Key requirements of the accounts assistant:

  • Accounting Technician or Part Qualified Accounting qualification preferable
  • 2 – 5+ years’ experience on any accounting package, NetSuite highly advantageous
  • Experience with revenue billing cycle
  • Experience within the hospitality and/or property management industries would be extremely beneficial
  • Solid expertise in Microsoft Office products and particularly strong expertise in Excel also preferable
  • Energetic and self-motivated with a pro-active attitude and effective communication skills
  • Willingness to take responsibility and ownership for your work
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
