A specialist boutique tax firm is seeking a bright and enthusiastic graduate keen to pursue a career in tax. The firm advises across all tax heads and the training is varied and extensive.
The position involves mainly tax compliance work initially, and over the 4 year training program you will gain practical experience across a range of tax heads with the option of developing consultancy skills as your tax technical knowledge develops.
The training is tiered and progressive and the level of responsibility and exposure to more complex tax issues will increase as your skills develop. You will interact directly with clients, government agencies and other professional services firms.
You will successfully complete the Irish Taxation Institute’s Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) exams as part of the training contract.
As a tax trainee in this firm, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to interesting tax assignments and develop your tax technical expertise in tandem with compliance experience.
The ideal candidate for this tax trainee position will possess the following:
- Currently hold or anticipate minimum of a 2.1 honours degree, ideally in business or law (some taxation content would be an advantage)
- Ability to analyse problems and implement solutions individually and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills with a ‘can do’ attitude
Please note: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, only successful candidates will be contacted
